I'm so excited to be your pastor. I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. Before working here, I served as a pastor in Pasadena, San Jose, and San Diego. I love to read and spend time with friends and family. I can't wait to meet you and get to know you better. 

Gordon battles, family life Pastor 

I am so excited to be a part of what is happening here at the First Congregational Church, Thomaston! I just graduated from North Park Theological Seminary in 2024 after graduating with my BA in Religion and Philosophy from Baylor University in 2021, and am excited to be able to serve the Church full-time. I could not be more excited to get to know you all.

This has been my church ever since moving to Thomaston in 1985. You will not find a more loving and friendly congregation. It is a pleasure going through life with them. They have mentored me, prayed with me, comforted and supported me throughout the years.

I started working in the church office in 2013. Since that time, I’ve been on the Outreach team, Christian Education and currently Women’s Fellowship.
